Judi LaPoint, the president of North Star Online Marketing, is a marketing professional who started building marketing strategies in a world before the internet. She has a proven track record as a practitioner and as a consultant.
She has spent the last six years coaching people in all aspects of business growth including developing business plans, marketing strategies, sales plans, customer acquisition and retention strategies, and overall business growth plans.
Additionally, she has helped non-profit organizations realize their campaign strategies with grant writing, donor cultivation, board development, strategic planning, and fund-raising. Her skills in marketing and customer relationship building are directly transferable to assisting non-profits achieve their goals.
In the past two years, Judi has helped people build an online presence through interactive websites, customer relationship and permission based marketing strategies, and through social media sites.
Judi is an active member of her community having served as a board member for the Summit Prevention Alliance, as the Vice President of Fund Raising for the Breckenridge Music Festival, and on the board in various officer positions for the Rotary Club of Summit County. She is currently serving as co-chair of the fund-raising committee and Treasurer for the Rotary Club’s Charitable Foundation. She is also active in Toastmasters where she won the District Humorous Speech contest in 2010.
Colorado Mountain College will be the site of her new “Online Marketing for Small Biz Professionals” course during the spring semester! Check it out, it starts March 15th.
Judi has a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Denver as part of the course work toward a Master’s Degree in Applied Communication (still pending) and she has a Masters Degree in Business Administration – emphasis on marketing, from the University of Colorado.
Judi lives with her husband Mark in Breckenridge with their two dogs, Izzy and Zuzu.
